an ode to polaroid...sniff

well, it is a very sad time for artists all over the universe, polaroid has announced that it will be discontinuing the production of instant film. sniff..sniff... i remeber when my grandma got a polaroid camera and we would take all these pictures then sit and watch the magic happen...sniff...sniff...then my wonderful hubby gave me one for christmas one year before we were married and i photographed every single person that came to our perfect little cottage...i documented the first year of our relationship via polaroid. the one below is from the night before we were married...i still feel that yummy when snuggle him and he still is that proud to be my husband.


i broke out the camera again to share the magic with our kids..this is the first picture we took
this is them watching the image above come to life....
then we had to take more...the pen in leah's hand is the one she used to color on the polaroid, she is a true artist, always creating ... the next is of our little monster kash-mash...
and finally ...well what more is there to say..i am a blessed momma and wife.
