happenstance photography okay tutt and i are out of here baby! we are taking the kids to "carolina" my momma's farm in Oregon and then on to a family reunion to sit on a river eat some good food and enter to win the apron decorating contest! tutt's is hilarious!!!
I wish I could blog from there but then again ... i heart vacation.

Paula and Alex ...it was hot but so beautiful!
on sunday Tutt and I spent the day in Calistoga at Hans Fahden winery which has amazing caves and gorgeous gardens!
Paula and Alex, what can I say Tutt and I had an amazing day with you in Calistoga! Yes it was HOT! but we truly enjoyed listening to the live Jazz and meeting your very cool and wonderful friends and family!

I am back!!!
HI everyone I have been really busy which is good for business and bad for blogging but I am back now and I have stuff to talk about!
first ... yesterday I had the pleasure of perusing the City and picking the brain of an amazing photographer out of Florida Lena Hyde. We found cool and interesting art stores such as
Paper Source and Flax Art Supply both of which we drooled over. We would stroll through thinking about different ways to use the amazing products. We then went to see amazing album craftsman Michael Chinn and drooled even more over his amazing albums and boxes..I think I might be making a big product announcement shortly! keep checking in!
So I tried to think of everything I could to keep Lena with me (and slowly suck the genius juice from her brain) so we then went to the home of lovely pet photographer Robyn Kessler, she lured us over with a meal and then made the HUGE mistake of asking for our help redecorating her basement...Lena and I took over and gave her a very long list of exactly what to do! I HAD A BALL! I love telling people what to do... I mean how to decorate!
Second...we here at Happenstance are off to Oregon next week! Going to te family reunion where we will sit by a river and then a camp fire! I cant wait. oh and did I mention we are having a contest on who can decorate the best apron? check back for the pictures!
third... I am coming home on the 5th of August only to leave for San Diego (YUMMY) on the 9th! I will be shooting some family portrait sessions down there for about a week. UMMMM...YEAH!
Okay so that is all for now, Lena told me I should Blog every day so I am going to do my best I promise!

LA and Mark...what a day!
I love this shot, she is looking to the man upstairs as if she and him have had a long and true relationship...as if they now have come through to the otherside and she is grateful for his blessings! Thanks for the reminder LA...
LA and Mark are wonderful people with a truly genuine love for one another!
LA fashioned her dresses after "interview with a vampire" old fashioned down to the corset! truly unique! Thanks Dave for letting me second shoot with you again! we were made for one another!
