so I get this call today...

ring " hello"

" oh my gosh Maria (sniff) I love them"

so i think to myself "self who is this?"

"kris?" i ask

"(sniff) yeah its me and thank you" "thank you, thank you, thank you"

"you did it maria you got her every look and secret personality trait that I thought only I saw, you nailed it!"

ummmm..WOW! what a great call, I might pay her to call me like that every day since I have been floating on cloud nine since then!!!!

This is her little miss lilly. (love that name!)

I have waited for a year to hang in Mom's the Word maternity boutique in Walnut Creek,

they have an exclusive list of photographers that match their look and I have been finally asked to be apart of it! I love this boutique it makes me want to be pregnant all over again! hmmmm....

So I guess pure talent runs in the family! My cousin Adriane (known to me as miss.penelopy) has won her first photography competition with the following image...

man how I wish she would drop out of college and join me at happenstance!

Kash turned three and after perusing the shelves of toys r us we decided he had to have a digital camera. It is so cool and takes pretty decent images too.

Kash LOVES it he walks around grouping everyone with a loud and and bossy "SMILE!!". I love watching him wander looking at the details of life composing images and then checking them out.

I know I am biased but he is GOOD!

carolina is the name I gave my mom's farm, located in Grant's Pass Oregon, because it is the place that makes my heart and soul feel connected and whole. and as an added bonus my momma and brothers are there and I love my family like crazy.

on tuesday of last week Tutt and I decided on an impromptu trip north to visit and love up my mom and let the kids ride horses and such.

although it rained Tutt and I had a chance to get out and shoot along side the country road and I had a chance to go over everything I know about cameras exposure and light. he took some great shots, I didn't do too bad either.

both of us love it up there so much we have devised a plan to visit every two moths to get stock photography shots!

our first bridal show!

okay I toiled with the idea of a wedding faire forever. then one day lelani busch from Affairs of Distinction contacted me and we connected right away. long story short...tutt and i were signed up for our first show and it was 4 days away!!

so.... many late nights, two neglected kids, lots of take out and gallons of starbucks later Tutt and I had our first booth and set up completed! he designed a kick ass slide show and I designed a cool wall of images to put up behind us everything was perfect!

now all we need is the brides . . . and then the freeway collapsed thanks to James Mosqueda and they couldn't get there, however the other vendors were amazing! we had a great time getting to know everyone and we both consider it to be a great networking opportunity and good dress rehearsal.
